Introducing Sikkim

Sikkim is a state in northeast India, bordered by Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal. Part of the Himalayas, the area has a dramatic landscape that includes India’s highest mountain, 8,586m Kangchenjunga. Sikkim is also home to glaciers, alpine meadows and thousands of varieties of wildflowers.

Day 1
Arrival NJP /IXB To Gangtok

On arrival at NJP / Bagdogra & transfer to Gangtok. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2
Excursion Visit Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Timing will depend on the issuance of Permit)

A day excursion to Tsomgo Lake – situated at a height of 3,780 Mts. with an average depth of 50 ft & Baba Mandir – The shrine maid in memory of sepoy Harbahajan Sing, Back to Gangtok. Evening free, overnight stay at hotel.

NOTE: Tsomgo Lake visit is subject to issuance of Permit and weather condition. If this is not possible to operate, alternation sightseeing will be arranged within the time frame)

Day 3
Gangtok To Lachung (Timing will depend on the issuance of Permit)

After breakfast transfer to Lachung (altitude 8610 ft). On arrival check in at the hotel, free evening. Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 4
Excursion To Yumthang Valley & Back

Morning after breakfast visit Yumthang-Valley (Famous as Valley of variety of Rhododendron), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks & winter playgrounds of yetis. On the way back visit the Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch. Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 5
Lachung To Gangtok

After breakfast leave for Gangtok. check in at the hotel. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day 6
Gangtok To NJP / IXB

After breakfast transfer to NJP Station or IXB Airport for return journey.
